Introduction

Your store, optimizing itself. Shuttlebase is an autonomous conversion rate optimization platform for eCommerce. It finds opportunities on your site, builds real design, copy, and code changes, tests them on your live traffic, and rolls out the winners.

You approve every experiment before it launches. You do not need designers, developers, or analysts to make it work.

Finds the opportunities

Shuttlebase studies your site and traffic and turns what it finds into experiment concepts. No feed to maintain, no API to connect — Shuttlebase crawls your site to learn your catalog and brand.

Builds the changes

Every variant is a working change to your site, not a mockup or a recommendation. Each one clears an automated QA gate — AI review plus an internal sanity check — before you ever see it.

Runs the test

Approved experiments launch on a schedule that respects your concurrency cap and avoids collisions between experiments on the same pages. Traffic splits evenly, and assignment is sticky across return visits.

Ships the winners

Results come from Shuttlebase’s own first-party tracking, judged with standard frequentist tests. Deploy a winner to 100% of traffic from the dashboard, or export its code and build it into your site permanently.

Shuttlebase serves eCommerce brands looking to utilize the full potential of their business and achieve explosive growth.

Shuttlebase is frontend-agnostic and works with all major platforms and stacks — Shopify and Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento), WooCommerce, VTEX, and custom or headless storefronts — including single-page apps built on React, Next.js, or Vue. It runs alongside your existing analytics and session-recording tools.

Nothing launches without your approval. Anyone with the right permission can pause an experiment, disable a single variant, or resume it later. Automation settings let you decide how much of the cycle runs on its own — from approving every step by hand to letting Shuttlebase end losers and deploy winners for you.

Guardrails run underneath all of it: losing experiments end once minimum runtimes and conversion counts are met, and when the estimated revenue loss is large, the engine flags the experiment for manual review instead of acting alone.

Do I need developers or designers on my side?

No. Shuttlebase generates the design, copy, and code, and handles implementation and QA. Your team reviews and approves.

Will the snippet slow my site down?

It’s a small JavaScript bundle - around 14KB minified - that loads asynchronously and sends events in gzipped batches. See the tracking snippet reference.

Do results come from GA4?

No. Experiment results always come from Shuttlebase’s first-party tracking. GA4 is used at the account level only, for high-level analysis and idea generation.

What happens when a visitor declines cookies?

They aren’t tracked and never enter running experiments. Deployed winning changes still render, because those are part of your site for everyone. See Privacy and consent.

Do we keep the changes if we stop using Shuttlebase?

Yes. You can export the variant code for any experiment and build the change into your site permanently.
